Abstract: |

These data comprise of four community-based surveys (May–June 2018, August 2018, October 2018, and December 2018–January 2019) and a simultaneous 12-month surveillance (March 2018-February 2019) at six government out-patient health facilities serving these communities. The overall aim of this research project was to examine the potential utility of routine data in describing the epidemiology and the endemicity of malaria. At each facility, the study involved records of all febrile patients that sought treatment and all febrile patients were tested for malaria using a rapid diagnostic test (CareStart™). In the community malaria test was performed on all consenting participants using RDT (CareStart™), irrespective of their fever status.
|
