Abstract: |
Two growth scenarios for both the plant-based seafood and cell-based seafood subsectors were developed to better understand the subsectors’ potential impact on food and nutrition security and livelihoods in low- and middle-income countries. Informed by a literature review and stakeholder interviews, the scenarios are based on assessing the pace of technological development, the number of businesses entering the market, investment, scalability of production, range of products, and likely demand and target prices |
