Abstract:

The dataset provides insights into the early design and parametrization of six building renovation strategies for a single-family dwelling in Belgium. Detailed focus group reports capturing the conceptualization of the retrofit scenarios are provided. This preliminary information is used for the energy modeling of the proposed retrofit scenarios in DesignBuilder and the subsequent sensitivity analyses. The energy models of the retrofit scenarios provided here are derived from the model of Attia et al. [1]. [1] Attia, S. (2021).
