Abstract:

This is the screening dataset from an open-label, randomized, active-controlled, multi-centre non-inferiority trial conducted by the University of Nairobi. The trial screened 718 participants ≥ 60 years old from among people receiving outpatient HIV care at two study sites in Kenya. The variables contained in this dataset are: demographics, ARV history, concomitant medications, and screening laboratory investigations (HIV-1 RNA viral load, creatinine, aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase, hepatitis B surface antigen, and complete blood count).
