Abstract: |
A comprehensive newborn monitoring chart was co-designed with stakeholders and implemented in newborn wards of 19 public hospitals in Kenya within the clinical information network. To understand its effect on documentation, we collected data over a 2-year period (September 2019 to October 2021) pre- and post-implementation. Data on frequency of documentation of key vital signs - temperature, pulse, respiratory rate and oxygen saturation were collected. |
