Abstract:

These data comprise the solar photospheric magnetic field maps used in Barnes et al. (2022), "Implications of Different Solar Photospheric Flux-Transport Models for Global Coronal and Heliospheric Modeling", published in the Astrophysical Journal. In that study, comparisons between the sector boundaries, open-flux regions, null points and solar wind models were determined from different surface flux-transport models of the global solar photospheric flux. This dataset contains the photospheric maps from the SSW-PFSS package.
