Replication Code for: Peaking Interest: How awareness drives the effectiveness of time-of-use electricity pricing, as appearing in JAERE. This includes code to analyze the data on the Ireland CER smart meter trial. The data include half-hourly electricity consumption for ~4000 households over a 1.5 year period, during which some households were exposed to time-varying electricity pricing and information interventions. The data also include rich survey data on these households. The code estimates the effect of these interventions, and heterogeneity in household responses using the survey data. More information, including how to apply to access the data, can be found at http://www.ucd.ie/issda/data/commissionforenergyregulationcer/.

Data is proprietary. See readme file for information about how to gain access the data. Once one has gained access to the data, the code can be used to replicate all of the results in the paper. See readme file for instructions.
