Abstract:

This is a replication dataset for the manuscript titled: "Replication Data for: HIV virological non-suppression is highly prevalent among 18-24-year-old youths on antiretroviral therapy at the Kenyan coast."

This dataset contains data collected from young people living with HIV (n=406) from the Kenyan coast. The aim of analysis was to determine the prevalence and risk indicators of virological non-suppression in these youths. As such, we analyze data for 384 young people living with HIV who had been on antiretroviral therapy for at least six months, the standard criteria for checking for viral non-suppression.

Notes:

Data Access: Restricted

The collected data includes people living with HIV, a highly vulnarable and stigmatized group. Therefore the data may not be openly available because of the terms for data sharing included in the consent forms. Anyone interested in accessing the data is free to write to the Data Governance Committee of the KEMRI Wellcome Trust Research Programme who will review the application and advise as appropriate, and ensure that uses are compatible with the consent obtained from participants for data collection.
How to request

Download and complete the data request form

Email completed data request form to the Data Governance Committee at dgc@kemri-wellcome.org

License: Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International
