Abstract:

We analyzed the soil nutrients from different sexual forms in two population of Opuntia robusta in Central Mexico (dioescious and trioecious) using Generalized Linear Models (GLM) in R (R Core Team 2020). For calcium we used Gaussian error distribution and identity link function. For nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, we used gamma error distribution and identity link function. The model included as the response variable each soil nutrient and as explicative variables, the plant sexual form. Assumptions of the homoscedasticity, proper distribution used, independence, were verified following the recommendations of Zuur et al. (2010). We presented here the results of these models together with the data obtained by Janczur and Martínez Estrella (2020) LITERATURE CITED R Core Team. 2020. Kind of Data:

% AMF - % of 1cm long root segments with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, per plant; Vesicles - number of vesicles in a sample; Arbuscles - number of arbuscles per slide; Spores - number of spores (per 100 grs of soil); pH; EC- electric conductivity (ds m-1); OC - organic carbon (%); OM - organic metter (%); TN - total nitrogen (%); P - phosphorus (ppm); CEC - cation exchange capacity (cmolKg-1); AD - apparent density (g/ml); C - clay (%); S - silt (%); A - sand (%); Na - sodium (mmolL-1); K - potassium (mmolL-1); Ca - calcium (mmolL-1); Mg - magnesium (mmolL-1); CaCO3 - calcium carbonate (%)

Notes:

We reported for the first time and described the existence of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) in Opuntia robusta, and differences between sexual forms concerning different estimators of the interaction with ABF.
