Research project form from CONEP - National Ethical Research Committee.pdf

Text:

As the norms of the national research ethics committee in Brazil do not require that a medical record review and retrospective study pass through the sieve of a committee, it was enough for the authors to identify this type of research so that approval was made at the local level by the coordinator of the research committee of Hospital Leforte in São Paulo, an institution that had no relation to the research. Therefore, there was neither informed consent from the patients nor the responsible institution. No Number of participants, no proponent institutions, no center of research participant was informed. It is noteworthy that there was also no authorization of the participants to use their clinical records There is also the schedule that differs greatly from that published in the Cureus paper
