Abstract: |
This assignment will produce suitability maps for solar based irrigation for different pump modalities in function of the prevailing shallow groundwater presence in the Sahel region (Burkina Faso, Senegal, Mali and Niger). Activities include: (a) Mapping out potential areas for solar irrigation at national level; (b) Produce digital maps online in the solar suitability tool; (c) organizing a regional workshop to present showcase solar irrigation and provide training in the use of the suitability maps. |
