Abstract:

The data collected refers to an experiential activity enabling participants to virtually visit the Eiffel Tower and cycle through Parisian suburbs through 360º videos displayed in a Head-Mounted display (HMD) headset (first-generation HTC Vive). The activity was programmed to enable an adaptation of VR technology and to exceed expectations with an adventure and physical exercise divided into four moments: Part 1 was the Eiffel Tower visit through 360º video (Available at: https://youtu.be/HNApxhvK1Hg); Part 2 was centered on a semi-structured group conversation to check the mood of the participants; Part 3 focused on a Paris Suburbs Cycling tour through 360º videos (Available at: https://youtu.be/tI3bKRRMAKA); Part 4 ended with some experience evaluation and feedback, where the participants filled out a questionnaire developed based on the technology Acceptance Model of Barsasella and colleagues (2023) to evaluate the experience (variables Q1 to Q13). Moreover, throughout the experience, Parisian music was played in the background to set the mood (Available at: https://youtu.be/tkjlYxUf4-M). This experiment involved two distinct groups (variable Group), institutionalized adults (GI-Institutionalize) and active individuals (GA-Active), totaling 114 participants.
