Abstract:

This dataset includes the SPSS, Excel and CSV files with the data on the candidates fielded by the main parties (PP, PSOE, IU, CiU and PNV) to the 2000 elections for the lower chamber (Congreso de los Diputados) in Spain, used for the pieces by Valiente, Ramiro & Morales. The original official lists published in the Spanish official bulletin (Boletín Oficial del Estado) is also provided for additional reference.
