The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality is a warehouse of information regarding health in the United States. Users can read and download a variety of specific reports on the topic area of interest. AHRQ also develops and manages a number of interactive data tools that are of great use to public health researchers and practitioners. <p><b>Background</b></p> The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality provides a variety of information for researchers, practitioners and the general public. The main focus areas are grouped under the following headings: clinical information; consumers and patients; funding opportunities; data and surveys; research findings; priority populations; quality and patient safety; health IT; public health preparedness. <p><b>User Functionality</b></p> Users can click on the topic area of interes t to review and download a number of reports. Within the data and surveys section are four interactive tools: MEPS, HCUP-net, HCUP, HIVnet. Please see the specific abstracts for more information regarding user functionality of these data tools.
