Description
| This is a replication dataset for the manuscript titled: "Lifelong malaria exposure drives B cell activation and post-transcriptional regulation while suppressing inflammatory transcriptional programs ."
This dataset was generated as part of a study investigating immunological signatures associated with lifelong malaria exposure among healthy adult participants from Kenya. It includes data collected across multiple malaria transmission settings and comprises:
- Baseline participant characteristics (e.g., age, sex, site)
- Raw and processed cytokine measurements from plasma samples
- Raw and normalised RNA-seq counts from peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), including both unprocessed gene-level counts and counts normalised to counts per million (CPM)
- An R Markdown file with annotated statistical code used for data processing and analysis
