Description
| Summary of purpose: This dataset includes supply shares, risk scores, and data quality assessment. For more details, check the methods section (https://doi.org/10.1038/s43016-023-00794-x ). Nature: Supply data is quantitative data collected from Food Agriculture Organisation (FAO) adjusted to represent the share of suppliers from upstream levels of the supply chain. Risk and quality assessment (QA) are qualitative data transformed to quantitative by multiple methods. For more details, check the methods section (https://doi.org/10.1038/s43016-023-00794-x ). Scope of the data: US land-based food supply and forced labor risk associated, considering > 1% import share per item-country. File: 'SI_upstream_paths.csv' includes 16,642 observations (excluding totals which are embedded in the dataset). Meanwhile, files: 'SI_summary_tabular.csv' and 'SI_summary_tabular_AGG.csv' are aggregation with 1,312 and 212 observations respectively. Data timeframe from 2015 to 2019 and was collected between 2021-2022. A detailed description of each variable is in the file "columns_description." (2023-04-18) |
