Description
he dataset provides comprehensive data on outbreaks, capturing geographical, environmental, and epidemiological variables. It includes spatial identifiers such as outbreak codes, GPS coordinates, and administrative boundaries (country, region, county/district, sub-county, and village). Temporal details span outbreak start and end dates, year, and month. Environmental factors include rainfall, temperature, humidity, NDVI metrics, and altitude, both annual and monthly, for up to three years before the outbreak. Epidemiological attributes document human and livestock cases, case counts, predominant livestock species, livestock density, production systems, and historical outbreak presence in the area or neighboring regions. Land use patterns, soil types, human population density, and proximity to wildlife reserves further contextualize affected areas. This rich dataset supports multifaceted analysis of outbreak drivers and patterns.
