The THOR survey is a galactic plane survey covering 15° < l < 67° and b < |1°|. It consists of HI 21 cm observations, 20 recombination lines and 1-2 GHz continuum data at a 20" spatial resolution. One of its main science goals is understanding the dynamics of the interstellar medium and how clouds transition from the atomic to the molecular phase.
