The Wide-Field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE) maps the entire sky at mid-infrared wavelengths--3.4, 4.6, 12, and 22 microns—corresponding to an angular resolution of 6.1, 6.4, 6.5, and 12”. WISE achieves a 5σ point source sensitivity of better than 0.08, 0.11, 1, and 6 mJy for bands 1-4, which corresponds to Vega magnitudes of 16.5, 15.5, 11.2, and 7.9, respectively. Edward Wright, 2016, "WISE Extended Observations: Continuum (2D)", https://doi.org/10.7910/DVN/HXAXM6, Harvard Dataverse, V1
This dataset consists of mid-infrared photometric data in four bands (3.4, 4.6, 12, and 22 µm) over the entire sky. The ALLWISE image atlas contains 18,000+ four band calibrated 1.5x1.5 degree fits files, in addition to depth-of-coverage and noise maps. These atlas images were created by coadding almost 8 million single-exposure images. Individual...
