D'Amico, Nicholas, 2024, "Replication Data for: Rainbow Consciousness? Exploring the Political Outcomes and Dynamics of Queer Linked Fate", https://doi.org/10.7910/DVN/IMKU8O, Harvard Dataverse, V3
While linked fate has been recognized as a driving force in the politics of various identity groups, should this theoretical framework be applied to queer politics? I ask: what are the outcomes and dynamics of linked fate among members of the queer community? How does linked fate shape queer political participation? Is the concept an adequate indic...

McQuiston, James, 2025, "Replication Data for: Redesigning the Political Science Curriculum to Incorporate LGBTQ Issues", https://doi.org/10.7910/DVN/ZWLBG8, Harvard Dataverse, V1
Political science educators have a responsibility to design their programs in a way that incorporates content that involves and engages underserved populations. A sizeable majority of Generation Z identifies as LGBTQ+ in recent polls, representing a faction that is larger than those identifying as African-American or Hispanic (PRRI 2024; Jones 2024...

Marcinkiewicz, Kamil; Stegmaier, Mary, 2025, "Replication Data for: Predicting Support for the Christian Democrats in the 2025 German Bundestag Election: A state-level approach", https://doi.org/10.7910/DVN/OIRM5N, Harvard Dataverse, V1, UNF:6:6vZUajHY/jlTpTfKqJHuXg== [fileUNF]
Our study aims to predict the result for the German Christian Democrats (CDU/CSU) in the upcoming federal parliamentary election on February 23, 2025, using data available in late December 2024. We proceed in three steps. First, we create a regression model using state- and national-level data from the 1972 to 2021 to explain the results of the CSU...

Are LGBTQ legislators effective lawmakers? We build on theories that link voter discrimination to legislative effectiveness by arguing that voters' biases against LGBTQ candidates narrow the candidate pool, leading to the election of only the most experienced and qualified LGBTQ candidates. As a result of this electoral selection effect, we expect...

Stockemer, Daniel; Sawyer, Stephen, 2025, "Replication Data for: Explaining Gender Gap Variation in Political Science Knowledge Production", https://doi.org/10.7910/DVN/GVO2BA, Harvard Dataverse, V1, UNF:6:Ony2Pvp8EOBEeXjin8IA6Q== [fileUNF]
If we open a random political science journal, we have a roughly two to one chance that the article is written by a man. Beyond this general finding, we know very little about the gender gaps within political science knowledge production: are women more represented in lower or higher ranked journals? Do they publish more single- or multi-author pap...

Mongrain, Philippe; Nadeau, Richard; Jérôme, Bruno; Jérôme, Véronique, 2024, "Replication Data for: State-Level Forecasts for the 2024 US Presidential Election: Trump Back with a Vengeance?", https://doi.org/10.7910/DVN/A9UC0H, Harvard Dataverse, V5, UNF:6:uImxrbZAE25mT16mhtLVSA== [fileUNF]
The outcome of the 2016 election made it abundantly clear that victory in US presidential contests depends on the Electoral College much more than on direct universal suffrage. This fact points to the importance of using state-level models to arrive at adequate predictions of winners and losers in US presidential elections. In fact, the use of a mo...

We collected data on every tenure-track (TT) faculty member in the 122 PhD-granting Political Science departments in the United States to identify which graduate programs place faculty in our discipline’s research universities. The top 20% of departments produced 75% of all faculty while the bottom 50% accounted for less than 5% of all TT faculty a...
