This repository contains archive file information, coding ontologies, and qualitative methods descriptions for qualitative data on discussions by British Cabinet members about Loyalist, pro-government militias during the first years of the Troubles in Northern Ireland (1969-1973). This work was supported by the National Science Foundation Grant #1823547, ``Civil Rights Violations and the Democratic Rule of Law'' (Emily Gade, PI; Michael McCann, co-PI; Noah Smith, co-PI), the University of Washington Curtis Graduate Research Grant, and the Halle Institute for Global Research Award.
