Contains georeferenced map versions in .tif and .kmz file formats of the 36 Beauplan Map Library maps that correspond to the outlines of the visual map index. Using GIS applications such as ArcGIS, QGIS, and Google Earth, the georeferenced maps can be superimposed on modern maps of the region, thereby aiding in selection of Beauplan maps that cover particular areas of the region. NOTE: Due to the nature of Beauplan’s maps, these georeferenced maps can be highly distorted, so are not useful for associating particular places on Beauplan maps with modern places.
