This project examines the role of beliefs, social norms and coordination elements on gender-based violence. We conduct an online survey experiment in Turkey to test our hypotheses on a representative sample of 4,000 respondents in Turkey. We use randomized treatments to see if dynamic information about how others' respond to gender violence can affect or shift individuals' own behavior.
